One, have any of you found that after surgery you developed an allergy to something you were not allergic to before? I didnt know if it could be something hormonal, and two, I woke this am at 4:30 having the most horrible bladder spasms and was unable to urinate at all- I thought I was going to die. I am just lucky that I have a cath kit here at home because I have kidney stones alot and they can sometimes block me up. I cathed myself and got out about 900 ccs, luckily I didnt vagal out-lol but I have been fine since. Peeing like a pro.
Just wondered if it was just my freakish luck or if this might be normal...lol
And thanks again for always being such a support to me!
Tara

AS long as you aren't allergic to Cadbury creme eggs dear.
Sorry, actually I am now allergic to adhesive tape, band-aids, all of that.
I don't know what caused your spasms unless you have a
UTI. Was there any blood in the urine? You prob want to get on some cipro or something. Check with le doctor (I know you are a nurse and probably have the drug at home already la la la la)but sometimes we have to actually be a patient(and then do what we think is right)
Luv ya

Bad thing with Pyridium, you cant use the strips- everything turns orange-lol
Oh and its not Cadbury eggs, cause I have eaten a dozen and I feel just ducky. ( an even if it was- I would benadryl up first) LOL!!!!

I had horrible bladder spasms the week following my surgery, but ended up having a uti. My bladder is still iffy, but it is the tvt. I feel like I'm not emptying. Maybe I need to do a residual, lol.
I like the mini eggs the best!

Have you tried the Milky Way eggs???? Oh....I think I need some.... They are soooo good...and you know they are better for you...that are only half the fat of regular candies of the same type (yeah but eating 6 probably negates the statement"better for you") lol
