Surgery Monday

I haven't had a lot of problems in the last few weeks. I actually felt pretty good! But God has a great way of letting us know that we do need this surgery!! Today I am in pain, bleeding (which I haven't done in about 3 months thanks to hormones), headache....but all the way to work I just kept laughing. My uterus looks at least 5 months pregnant! I can't wear anything but dresses or elastic, I walk like I am pregnant and all I can do is laugh! I am so ready for this! I will be glad to have visitors! I don't care now if all my work is done! Just take this "unbaby" as I call it...OUT!!! It is time to celebrate ladies!!!!! Good luck to you all!!! I wish it was tomorrow! (I have to wait until Wednesday afternoon!)

Tomorrow is the day

Well, I have done all that I can, cleaned the house, did the laundry, went grocery shopping, had my hair cut and colored, had a pedicure (no polish), done my meditation, read all my hysterectomy books, wrote down phone numbers of friends and family to be called, filled my MP3 player with music that I like, packed my hospital bag (over packed for sure)! I think I've got it all covered, but I'm sure there is something that I haven't done!!!!

I am extremely excited to be getting this surgery, but......I am also a tiny bit scared (just between you and I). I know all will go well, and this will be nothing more than a minor inconvience!

I'm sure that I will have LOTS more questions to ask, when I come home from the castle

Good luck to anyone else who is going in on Monday.......may all our recoveries be as pain free as possible, and may we all come home without any problems, and our healing be swift!
