post- op spotting
Just wondering if anyone has experienced spotting two weeks post-op?? I have had a good experience with no bleeding after the first two days of surgery. Now two weeks out, I am spotting. I would appreciate any comments. Thanks!

post- op spotting
When I went in for my 2 week post op appt. my dr told me that I could start spotting from the pelvic exam and that it was also normal to spot a little when you start to lose your internal stitches. If it gets too heavy, I would call the dr if you are still concerned

post- op spotting
I went for my one week postop appt and my doctor asked if I was spotting. I'm 10 days postop today and have had very little spotting, pinky/ browish. My doctor said thats good, but to keep the "pads" until after my 6 week postop appt cuz you can continue to spot throughout. The spotting is normal, but as mentioned above if it gets heavy I would call the doctor.

I had some very light bleeding for the first 2 days and then it changed over to spotting. Mine ranges from light pink to brownish. I've only needed panty liners since day 2. The doc said not to worry about it unless it is bright red and you use more than a pad an hour.

I didn't spot at all until 2 weeks out. I am now almost 7 weeks out and have just quit. DR says it's normal, if it is just spotting. Mine was even a light red, but never heavy.

post- op spotting
I started spotting 13 days post op. Now I can't seem to get rid of the smell. No matter how many showers or pad changes. I see the Dr. on Tuesday, today is Sunday. I hope it is normal.
Hugs to you all.
Cheers

I have heard that some smell is normal around this time. The stitches start to disolve and that is what is causing the odor. It will go away, but it might last a few weeks. It is good that you are going to see your doctor. He or she can rule out an infection.

I also spotted after 2 weeks, I think it lasted up to 4 weeks. Wasn't alot just enough to have to wear a stupid pad. Glad that is over and never have to buy them again!!!!
Have a great evening.
