Re: Poll: If you take prescription HRT, what kind do you take?

I take Enjuvia 1.25 mg and vitamins when I remember..lol I have to agree with other posters in regards to cost versus health. Ive had many surgeries the past few years, hysterectomy, bso, gall bladder and twisted bowel.. and quite honestly id rather have to pay for insurance, copays and other than to not be around to harrass my kids, boyfriend and family..haha! im 42 years old..stay strong ladies!

Re: Poll: If you take prescription HRT, what kind do you take?

After allergic reactions to three different types of HRT I have settled on the femring. It just really sucks as my insurance has that at a top tier drug so my co-pay is $50 a month. Being that I'm only 36 that will be a huge chunk of money. Don't get me wrong I'm glad I did the surgery and had everything taken out I just wish that insurance would cover more.

It's not a prescription. But I take menopause moisture cream, I can't take medication well, so this works awesome for me.

Re: Poll: If you take prescription HRT, what kind do you take?

I used to take vivelle patch and a compounded test cream. I had no problems with the patch, and felt the test cream did nothing. I often wondered if the pharmacy was just giving me cream…still suffering that famous loss.

The meds felt pretty pricey coming from 2 different pharmacies and yet I kept on with them hoping cumulatively they would produce better results eventually and I would feel more myself.

One day I was yanked off the meds (that cannot be good) due to high cholesterol (by a nurse in my doctors office)….I have suffered since with a whole slew of symptoms.

I recently went back to my dr who placed me on eemt. One synthetic pill….still very on the fence about it 2 months later!

1 mg of estradiol 90 days for about $6 if I am remembering correctly. I was surprised that it was so cheap.
