pharmacy messes up prescription

Kind of a long story but I've been on my same dosage for over 5 months and had been doing great. Re-filled my prescription of bio cream and about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks into it I start having hot flashes that kept getting worse and just feeling crappy. I was due to see my Dr. anyway and he ran bloodwork and my estradiol went from 119 to 35!! Progesterone dropped a bit but not as bad as the estradiol. No wonder I felt terrible.
I started a new syringe and within 4 days the hot flashes started to get better. Today is day 5 and I'm only having 2-3 a day still and a few heart palps.
I called the pharmacy and they said that something could have gotten messed up but that it rarely happens but by the sounds of it, it was messed up.
My question is... how long before my numbers go back up enough to where the hot flashes go away completely?

I would think just a few weeks.
