Had my pre-op today

Well,
My pre-op wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!
I went to my Doctors office first (it is right across the street from my castle) and did the usual blood pressure, temperature and the dreaded scale! Then off to have a basic exam. No fun when Aunt Flo decides to rebel and come early for her last hurrah. Then my Dr. answered all my questions and then we headed across the street to the castle for our pre-admissions screening.
They did lots of paperwork and then did a pee collection (yuck) and blood draw. I am all set. I will be at the castle Thursday the 19th, at 5:30 a.m. for my 7:30 a.m. coronation.
I also talked to my dr about getting a spinal and he said it was what he reccomends! YEAH! The only bad part of my day was getting my prescription for the go-lightly. YUCK! But, hey at least it is citrus-berry flavored! So now, just waiting for Thursday!

Best wishes on your upcoming day! I had my TAH/BSO last Tues. 12/10 and I'm doing quite well. The waiting was awful.
