Endometrial ablation did NOT work! Advised to get Hysterectomy!

Oh, my dear, YES!!! I had an endometrial ablation in early November 2011. I started periods again within a couple weeks. They were tolerable for the first couple months but eventually got heavier than before, having times when I could only make 15 minutes with a super-plus tampon and clots that made it very unpredictable. Hormones didn't help either. I finally had a hysterectomy done August 2012. I had fibroids and adenomyosis that they think was the source of my heavy bleeding. You'll have your life back again! I'm glad I tried less invasive options first, but ultimately I needed that hysterectomy if I wanted to spend time outside the bathroom.
