Anybody 4 months out with BIG swelly belly?

Anybody 4 months out with BIG swelly belly? And it still hurts, everything feels bruised. I wore a pair of pants the other night, with my girdle, and now I have a big bruise where the button and zipper were! Any thought? Advice?

I am only at the 2 month mark but I get the swell belly every day. I swear I have to change cloths 3 times a day to keep up. I don't see any bruises (even with my sisters 2 babies here for 5 days for the first time). Our bodies are sometimes crazy aren't they?

Jenn that has to hurt. I still do get poofy by the end of the day, and it aches.

Jenn, if you had your hyst on Oct 17th, you aren't even 3 months out yet -- very normal for your belly to still swell! I'm 4 1/2 months out, and my belly is finally nice and flat. There IS an end . . .

I can tell you that I had my hysterectomy on Oct. 14th and my belly is still huge. I'm so disappointed, I thought it would be long gone by now. UGH!

I am almost at 5 months and swelly belly is only in evidence if I have a very active day but it is so much less than 6 weeks ago.

Have patience, it will go :-)

May help to wear sweats around the house and put your jeans on for only as long as you have to.
