Post Op Diarrhea
Hello Ladies: Has anyone experienced problems with their bowel movements? I'm new here, and probably posted this question on another fourm here.
I'm on my 5th day of recovery, and have had difficulties passing a hard stool (on the 2nd day), then I took a laxative (my doctor's nurse said to take) and now dealing with diaherra. The diaherra has stopped and now the stools are soft. But I am now experiencing burning from going poop. I called my doctor and they said to get "Anusol" and eat a specific diet to keep stools soft.
I'm hoping this is normal, and will soon go away and everything back in order.
I'm also clueless to this whole hormone therapy replacement thing. It's kind of confusing.
Thanks for all the help.
Bless,
SaltySister

Re: Post Op Diaherra
Many women have issues with their bowels following this surgery. They can get a bit cranky from the anesthesia.
Follow the nurse's/doctor's instructions and you should do fine! If things get worse, let your doctor's office know.
