Tumor size

wow, some of you have had some really impressive sized tumors! Does anyone know if size matters in enodmetrial cancer? I know in breast cancer, if it's over 2 cm, then it's stage 2 even if lymph nodes are negative, but don't think I know anything about endo cancer size.

Re: Tumor size

I think size makes some difference but where it's located and if it's spread is a bigger factor. I'm curious to see what others have been told.

Re: Tumor size

My grade and stage were not affected by the tumor size (stage 1a, grade 1) but I was told to have brachytherapy because of it. My tumor had grown from the top of my uterus like a bunch of grapes and had gone through my cervix without involving it at all. I wonder if the tumor banging around in the top of my vagina was a factor too. I'd ask my gyn onc but she doesn't really give information.
