I'm an Army wife, 2 1/2 years - my dh joined a little later in life, so we're a bit older than our peers.

Hello Ladies, I have been an army wife for 2 1/2 years. Although he was my HS sweetheart over 30 years ago. It took his 2nd deployment to find me. Oh well :-)

I am a USMC wife of about 3 years. It's a full time job to keep our lives in order since my husband was injured this last deployment. I hope I can find some friends here that will help me along the journey.

I'm a NAVY wife, 12yrs now. Been with my sweetie for over half my life (almost 17yrs). I'm glad to have this website, and military sisters.

I am very proud to be an Army wife of one year now. I was an Army brat, then had a bad 14 year marriage and was away from all military culture. It seems so natural to be back in the military lifestyle. It was strange at first, especially since my hubby is "on the trail" as a drill sergeant. We are starting his third and final year at FLW and then heading south. I look forward to having real evenings and weekends with my man. I haven't had to deal with deployments yet, but I am sure it will happen. Four more years until retirement...

Yolanda--my hubby was also my HS sweetheart. It was at the tail end of his 2nd deployment when he found me--after 17 years!! I guess the best things really are worth the wait, huh?
