Any Golfers?

I am healing well, feel great. At first I thought I thought I would not be able to golf next summer. Now I am thinking maybe I can. Any ladies here that golf?

I haven't played golf in a while, but I would think you should be able to play next summer. Of course, only your doctor can really tell you that.

I am really hoping that I can golf this summer. I really miss going out, and I didn't get to much last summer because of my lupus. I am praying that I will be teeing off soon. I pray you get to also. I hope my game is not to bad, though I am sure my uterus was never an asset on the greens!

I would imagine that by next summer, you'll be on the LPGA tour!!!! I had asked that specific question of my surgeon prior to the hyster and he told me I'd be 'swinging' by this weekend (12/7)....I'm taking my husband on a 50th birthday golf trip. I am exactly three months out and coudn't feel better!

Thanks ladies! I think my game will improve, I had terrible lower back pain before. That and having to pee/change every other hole was a pain! I am just worried about overusing ab muscles too much. Can't wait to try!

About the golfing......it was GREAT and I kinda think I had a better rhythm with my swing. I'm sure it's due to the lack of internal organs! Everything's better after a hyster! We played 18 holes one day and I hadn't played for 6 months!!!! I felt it, but not because of the surgery!

Yes, we missed the snowstorm here in Colorado and enjoyed unseasonably warm 80* weather in South Carolina. Getting around The Great Wall of Ice was a trick trying to get home though!

You'll be fine and dandy come time for golf!
