slightly worried, mini period or what? 6 weeks post op

Ok yesterday I had blood come out of me, not a lot ( I phoned doc, he said prob a mini period, nothing to worry about) so I was happy.
I kept my ovaries and cervix.
So today I notice the blood (not much) is now brown with little clots in. Should I worry or take my docs word?
I'm in no pain, just tender.

Here is an article that might be helpful: Mini Periods after Hysterectomy.

The cervix is the bottom part of the uterus, so when it is cut from the top of the uterus during a partial hysterectomy some of the endometrium can be left, too. That endometrium can shed in response to hormones produced by your ovaries. The resulting period is a mini period as your doctor stated.
