I am gettingso nervous Dec 2nd is my date

Well I need to know is anyone else as nervous as me..??????

I have looked here for so many answers and well you all helped me so much..... Now I am getting so scared and nervous.. I want it to be over but now welllllllll

I was just telling my Dh and he said I would do just fine..... He has been right here for me ... he is calling me his Princess already and my Kids went and got me a pretty Princess pillow for my birthday (11-12) I am only 42 and I tell everyone 28

Please tell me all this is normal...... I find myself cleaning so much..... even at work.......

what is next?????? Anyone help

hi Susan,
It sooo normal to be nervous..I had an awful day of nerves and crying today...I can't stand the crying but it does relieve the stress I am also cleaning like crazy and checking and rechecking my bag for the castle

Hi, my date is Dec 1. I'm not nervous yet. I expect I will be in about 2 weeks. I need this surgery and I'm determined to stay just a little driven.
Everyone says waiting is the hardest. I imagine driving to the hospital and the night before will be the hardest for me. Once you're there you just do as you're told. You won't remember anything and tell yourself you will wake with bad cramps and get better from that moment on.
If it helps, talk out what your most nervous about. Is it fear of the "unkown," or the anesthetic, or getting sick afterwards or....?
The only thing I'm dreading is the bowel prep. For that I'm chicken!

Waiting is the absolute worst of it!!!

I had two weeks to prepare and I thought the day would never arrive, but it did. FINALLY!
I got so tired of hearing...oh, it'll be here before you know it....when I just wanted it done and over with already.

So, I promise not to say that to you.

Just keep yourself busy, go get a new hair-do, get your nails done, anything at all to pamper yourself beforehand.
Go to the post op section and read what those wonderful women have to say. Call a long lost high school friend and catch up on old times. Laugh and enjoy life.

Learn how to be a now, so you can enjoy it later.
