Bowel Issues after procedure

I'm five and a half months post op and for the past two or three weeks not having regular bm. I find that when I have not been for a while my stomach swell and becomes tender. After bm all gets back to normal. Sitting down all day in work doesn't help as I found that when I was home I went on many walks which I found helped.

This site is wonderful with useful information. My bm were too often and runney. And the rumbling in the stomach. I'm 3wks and a day post op, and am tired of dr, giving blood and peeing in a cup. I will try some of the info here; and go from there.

I had tah same day as you.I still have constipation but the pain is after voiding brings tears to my eyes.Hurts above bladder my gyn said it is because uterus was so close to bladder .His suggestion was to not let bladder get too full before emptying ,does help a bit. Good luck.

I can totally identify! I had my surgery the day after you, and I go at least 3-4 times a day; sometimes feel like I can't make it, other times I feel like I can't go. My bladder also feels like it is not emptying right; I could sit and pee forever trying to squeese it all out. I'm curious what your nurse thinks.
