Vaginal discharge 3 weeks post op
Just noticed a brownish discharge, very slight, 3 weeks post op. Vaginally and or urinary tract or both! Is this normal?

Re: Vaginal discharge 3 weeks post op
I had discharge up to just a week ago. I think its the normal healing process. It was slight pink, then brownish, then yellowish. If it smells or you have pain or fever, I'd call the dr.

Re: Vaginal discharge 3 weeks post op
I've had it pretty consistantly since the surgery. Kind of brownish...seems to be more if I'm more active. But I was told this was normal after vag hysterectomy and rectocile/cystocile repair for up to 4 or 5 weeks by both my gynec. and urologist. Did yours just now start? If so, it's probably worth at least a phone call to your doctor.

Re: Vaginal discharge 3 weeks post op
I've just started too and am about 2 1/2 weeks out. Brownish tinge to urine and a bit of spotting. I am pretty sure it's normal unless it's red. My Gyno said to expect it and usually it happened when he had to do the 6 week check up, LOL.
