TAH when to remove staples?

Hi all, just a bit of advice needed over when staples should be removed. My op was done on Monday 30th and I was told to go back to hospital today (sat) to have staples removed, but when I saw my doctor a couple of days ago, she told me they should be removed nearer the 14 day mark.

which is correct, as I am rather confused.

Perhaps it differs from person to person. I had my clips removed Day 7.

If the doctor you refer to is the doctor who did the surgery then I would go along with what you were told.

20 years ago with my last C-section, they took my staples out on day 3 before they sent me home. I got to keep them for a week after my TAH. It was the same Doc for both operations.
Call your surgeon and see what they say.
