Anyone having this problem with sex?

I am 4 1/2 months post-op. Everything has been going good with my DH in the sex department. I started having this problem yesterday. Everything will be going fine, and all of a sudden I dry up. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, what caused it, and how did you get the problem taken care of? I hope I've not been too graphic. Thanks in advance for any advice. Andrea

I keep the KY lubricant by the night stand, just in case. I only needed it use it twice, and not to start up, just to keep going (sorry TMI) to the end. Good Luck

This can be a problem for many of us and as azeala recommends the use of lubricant and keeping it close by is a good idea. However if it becomes a real concern a visit to your doctor could be helpful and he'll possibly give you vagifem which is inserted into the vagina with an applicator and it helps. You will find other threads on the site about this very issue and ideas to help.

This is not uncommon. It could be hormonal, if you don't have your ovaries, but it can also be caused by non-hormonal factors. Your cervix was a primary source of lubrication, so if you don't have your cervix anymore, you might be drier. I notice it sometimes, and sometimes it is OK. I also keep some of the nice KY liquid at the bedside. I highly recommend it. It feels very natural.

Thanks I did not know the cervix was a source of lubrication. I don't have mine either.
