Cravings Post-Op?

Am I nuts or has anyone else had strange new cravings after their hyst.? I came home from the Castle on Fri. and since then (when I'm feeling well) I have been having cravings off and on for different foods. Has anyone else experienced this?

Cravings Post-Op?

JoJo-
when I was newly post op, I had strange cravings for things I didnt normally crave. There was a deli made sandwich that I could'nt get enough of, and Pizza Huts Thousand Island dressing. Just to name a couple. My doc said that if I was seriously craving something, go ahead and eat it, its the bodies way of letting you know you are lacking something.

Cravings Post-Op?

I wanted crushed ice and cranberry juice. I like cranberry juice, but it was the ONLY thing that I wanted to drink. I had them give it to me in the hosp. with my meals. My girlfriend brought a jug of it so I could have it whenever I wanted it. Everything also tasted too salty to me. This gradually went away after about 2 weeks.
