Fever 4 days post-hysterectomy?

I had a TAH Friday June 3 & was released from the hospital Sunday. I noticed yesterday that I had a low grade fever 99.6 (even on around the clock Tylenol). Today my temp is 99.9 (still on Tylenol.) My incision looks good. Im in a lot of pain even on strong pain meds. Is the fever "normal"?

what you're describing doesn't sound normal at all. A fever is usually could be a sign of infection.... I had a low grade fever after my TAH as well and had to be re hospitalized due to multiple abdominal abscesses.... Pls go and get checked out. Better safe than sorry. Best of luck to you....

I was told to go to ER when my temp was 101 for more than 2 days and tylonal would not help it. Saying that what did your surgeon tell you about the low grade fevers?? If you feel uncomfortable about it, then you should go to the ER and have it checked out..
