does one ovary work?

it has been 18 months since my hysterectomy. I felt great for a while but the past few weeks I am back to mood swings and hot flashes. I have one ovary and am just wondering if it is crapping out on me............am I on the road to the hormone jungle???

Has anyone experienced this?????

hi missy yes one ovary can work for many years but ive read on-line that ovarys have a 50% chance of dieing off after a hysterectomy, i have two ovaries and get the hot flashes theres some natural helps for that you can do a search, try to avoid hormones they cause other problems down the road good luck
