Foolishly Optimistic?

I though I was the only one that got the strange looks and oh my I am so sorry ....my reply is I am not sorry I want to have a party can wait for 11/26 !!!! I am ready for recovery

I was optomistic about my surgery. It was long awaited and I was tired of all the pain and bleeding, plus the fear of the chance of my ovarian cyst bursting or twisting. After surgery my dr said I made the right choice in getting the hysterectomy and BSO. My recovery went well with minimal pain and lots of rest. Catch up on a good tv series. It really does keep you down. Best wishes for all you ladies who are getting ready for you surgery!

My surgery is November 27, and I can agree with you that you can be excited. I feel the same way because I won't be having my cycles anymore. They are so painful, heavy and irregular. Since March I have been having cycles every two weeks.
