Surgery Cancelled - Pregnancy mentioned
Before Reading, pregnancy is mentioned!
Hi Sisters,
I found this site early November, only to find so many awesome women and I'm truly thankful for having found all of you.
Yesterday morning I was at the hospital to have my LSH/BSO surgery. My GYN specialist came in to say they are ahead of schedule and will be taking in the OR in a few minutes. As I laid on the bed, with my gown on and those lovely stockings you have to wear, with the hair net thing...my heart began to race and I was saying my final prayer....God this is it, I am in your hands and I know you'll take care of me during surgery and afterwards. I know with you on my side and to have my family's love and support, I am blessed.
My doctor came in and said he was unable to do my surgery and I had asked "why" of course, "I thought we were ahead of schedule" and he said "We cannot do the surgery because you are pregnant!" Well my first reaction was I actually got kind of angry, I was in total disbelief....as anyone would be in my shoes, just minutes away from being put under with the happy juice! My doctor showed me the pregnany test and there it was, a + sign....and well I just cried! I cried so hard, I couldn't stand or do anything! I thought to myself, what a heck of a way to surprise my DH and my mom & dad and to say the least they were extremely surprised!!!
My DH & I tried for years, naturally, w/ fertility meds and month after month, year after year, I could not get pregnant because of the Endometriosis and PCOS...my biggest thing was not being able to develop a healthy egg....so as my surgery date neared, I surrended my mind, body and soul to God, and accepted that this is my life path and I need to make the best of it! And now a miracle has occurred, I am pregnant...I would have never thought I would be able to say those words to my Husband or to anyone else, let alone to see a positive + on a pregnancy test after so many had been negative!
To all my beautiful, courageous sisters out there, this story is not be to cruel in any way, shape or form, but to bring hope into your lives! They say, "People make plans and God laughs"...well he had a plan for me, and it is without a doubt a miracle, a blessing!!! I am still overwhelmed and trying to grasp this concept, but a miracle occurred yesterday, and I got to be apart of it!!! I've only heard something like this happening in fairytales or movies and low & behold, it happened to little ol' me!!!!!!
I am so thankful and grateful to all of you sisters, for your love, support, advice, encouragement, your stories, your tears and your laughter.....God wanted me to find you and maybe it was to share this story and spread Faith and Hope, because anything is possible, if you just LET GO and LET GOD!!!!
Much love to all you. I will continue to say prayers for each and every single one of you! We all truly deserve to live a full happy, healthy prosperous life! All of you are amazing & beautiful and don't let anyone tell you differently!
BIG BIG HUGS XOXOXOXOXO
Nicole

Thank you and yes, it's Amazing!
I wanted to say too, that when I was younger I had struggled with an illness, Polymyositis and Dermatomyositis and I was paralyzed and was in rehabilition for months and was on steriods for the longest time to strengthen my body and be able to walk again and the doctors said that more than like I would not be able to have children, so I was definitely against a lot of odds!
Thank God and thanks to all of you wonderful sisters for your love & support. I wish all of you the best. And thank you for letting me share this with you.
