2 days post hysterectomy: no gas pain and two bowel movements already - is that normal?

Hi ladies...2 days post op...no gas pain is that normal??? Had 2 bowel movements already...any advice would be greatly appreciated?? Speedy recovery to all!!!

I had the DaVinci and never experienced gas pains.
Also no issues with BMs either.
Yes you are normal, you just hear mostly about women with issues in this specific post op forum.

Count your blessings! I also had no gas pains and no problem with bowels. I am thinking that what helped were the bowel prep, the fact that I didn't take any narcotics and a great dr!

Thanks good to hear i was worried!! I also did bowel prep and had a great dr!!! I WAS on percs for 2 days but just motrin now!! Speedy recovery!!

I also had minimal gas issues and bowel issues. Also cut narcotic pain pills as soon as I got home and only using motrin. The walking helps even just 10 minutes aday. Also having stairs at home helped too!

Thanks!!! Just did stairs today..feeling good 3 days out..im use to walking 5 miles a day so this is hard..
