Hair is so greasy since surgery!!

8 weeks post op--my hair is so greasy and smells bad by night since the surgery. I wash it every morning. Any ideas what I can do? I've always liked pantene, but I'm thinking it has to go!!

My hair was really greasy for the first couple of months, too, but it's almost back to normal now. I do still have to wash it every day, whereas before surgery I could wash it every other day, but at least it's not greasy by the time I go to bed anymore.

My hairstylist suggested sprinkling baby powder on my hairbrush and brushing it through my hair. You might try that.

I am six days post op and have always had hair that gets greasy after a day. I found that head and shoulders works so well. They say your hair actually gets oily because the scalp is dry. So be sure to use conditioner and Head and Shoulders helps so much too. I hope this works for you as it has for me Oh, be sure to put the Head and Shoulders on your wet head and leave for several minutes so it has time to work.
