last period

It seems like the flow just doesn't want to go! I swear since I scheduled my hysterectomy I started bleeding that same day while on BC. Haven't stopped yet. Ugh. I feel your pain. Just think about how great its going to be nit having to plan your life around bleeding.

I am scheduled for surgery on the 27th and after a few months of no period, but severe cramping and constant headaches, it ends up showing a week ago and boy did it hit with a BANG! Pain meds are not touching it, and I take a mixture of NSAID and a low narcotic. No dice, it's like its saying, you want to get rid of me well I will make sure you truly feel my wrath!!!
Honestly tho, its just solidifying even more how I am making the correct decision to have the surgery. I am 35yo and because of previous health issues, I am unable to safely have children and since my periods are getting so severe and having intercourse with my fiancee has become 'dreaded' due to severe cramping and pain, we decided the hysterectomy is the best choice.
I am so sorry to hear that others are getting slammed with their last periods so badly but in a weird way I am happy I am not imaging it!
Gentle hugs to everyone and just keep repeating to yourself that "this too shall pass" and will not last forever and also to just keep "breathing" cause you are strong enough to get through this!! I have faith in all of you!!!
