After 6 months after a full hysterectomy feeling lost!

Hello ladies,

How are you ?
Well here I am 6 months after my full hysterectomy. Thought all was going well but for the past 2 months I have been feeling excruciating hip pain down both my legs , with burning sensation, pins and needles , numbness right down to my left foot. I have been 3 times to a chiropractor initially it seemed it was helping but this past week all came back unfortunately. I don't know what to do. I don't know if this has to do with high level of endometriosis that I had before the operation

, I'm feeling so lost and in so much pain day and night.
Thank you
Carla

Re: After 6 months after a full hysterectomy feeling lost!

Hi, Surgeries from the pelvic region can affect nerves in the hip & legs. See your Dr. You may get referred to a specialist or PT. I dont think its a area for a chiropractor..

Feel better!

Hi Carla, I'm sorry you're not feeling the best. I too have had some joint achiness and stiffness. Someone here replied to make sure you are getting enough calcium as lack of estrogen depletes that from the system. I think it has helped. I also have carpal tunnel that had gotten exceedingly worse since surgery. I'll be talking with my dr about that, numbness, tingling and pain. Good luck and keep us updated! Hugs to you sister

Re: After 6 months after a full hysterectomy feeling lost!

Hello there
I agree with Laila. Make an appt to see your doctor and have this investigated further. Quality of life is what is important and excruciating pain is hard to bear every single day.

Please feel better and let us know how you are doing!
