Hot sweats post recent ovary removal (6 months post hysterectomy)

I too have been having hot sweats in night only 8 days post 1 ovary removal . I'd had no symptoms b4 op at all My Gynae says it the remaining ovary will take a while to adjust! She has recommended some HRT CREAm if i need in next month.
Has anyone else tried the cream instead tablets? I don't mean Vaginally. ( i already take VAGIFEM pessaries)

I was offered the cream to rub on your thighs or the patches that you pop on your bum, but went with patches because you only have to change them twice a week so more for convenience. Good luck and please keep us posted on how cream goes!

Yes I think i like the sound of the patches more, but I'll wait ti have the conversation and weigh up the options!
