TAH 6 months post op gained 6 pounds since last week..... Thyroid??

Hello everyone, I went to see my dr today, told her all about my weight gain, hair loss, extremely large, aching boobs!!! all the tale tale signs of menopause...... she thinks it is a thyroid problem?? Anyone else have problems since hyster??

I had thyroid issues before my TAH... but never had all those issues... (the hair loss yes)
Since my surgery I have had the weight gain, still ahve a tender stomach (to the point it is uncomfortable to paint my toe nails bending over) and the exhaustion level is overwhelming!
I am 3 months post op & can't believe I still have issues!!! Just very dissapointed in that!
Testing the thyroid levels is just blood work - a simple yes or no.... easy to find out!
