dVH/RALH 5 1/2 weeks post hysterectomy. cramping after vacuuming

Can I really still not vacuum!? I did it earlier today, and now I am really cramping.

Best judge is your body, listen to it

I am 12 weeks and it still pulls when I vacuum,I try but then stop.I then get told off from family.

I tried at 6 weeks and it was still hurting to vacuum. I would wait another week if you can. Around 7 weeks, it didn't hurt much, I just had to go slow.

DONT DO HOUSEWORK!

You might end up with prolapsed organs (bladder, rectum, etc)

NO GARDENING!
NO LIFTING OR PUSHING OR PULLING!

No vacuuming for six weeks was one of the DO NOT's on my discharge list.
The cramps are probably your bodies way of telling you that you shouldn't be doing that. You only get one chance to heal properly.

I tried vacuuming at 7 weeks when I was cleared but it still caused pain. I couldn't vacuum till 3 months out. I felt so weak and it just pulled everywhere.
