A little spotting after intercourse

I'm 7 weeks post op. I had intercourse a few times last week and no spotting. Last night I had spotting afterwards and I'm worrying. I have a call into the dr. I'm sure everything is fine but I'm a little freaked that I did something harmful. Did anyone else have anything like this? I had a total abdominal. Thanks

Don't panic! My Dr told me to expect spotting the first couple of times.

Also, as you have been practicing a few times you may be getting a little more energetic!

As long as it is only spotting and isn't getting worse you should be fine.

We just had our first "session" two nights ago and there was some spotting.
I was HOPING it was normal and going to try a time or two more before worrying.

I had some spotting the very first time we had sex 6 weeks after TAH but only that time. Just put a call into your doctor to confirm everything is okay.

it can also be vaginal dryness, try using KY jelly or something similar, there are many over the counter creams that you can use, see if it improves and the spotting stops....

I had some spotting, but only after our third or fourth time, when we tried a different position. Perhaps that's a possibility for you?

I'm 7 weeks post-op. Had sex for the first time yesterday, I also had a little spotting it stop right away and was gone after I washed up, but I will wait a while before I have sex again.

Sorry, but if you had spotting then things aren't quite healed in there. If it were me, I'd go back to waiting a week or two, and get an internal check as well.

13 weeks post op-had intercourse and bleeding. It did stop, however this is the second time. This post is so helpful.

Most likely, it's nothing. Less commonly, it could be granulation or something. And even very rarely, it could be what I had, where some peritoneal tissue had slipped into the cuff. So just in case, call the doc.
