Anyone had their doc do a little nip & tuck?

I have a previous c-section scar and the skin sags on one side because it is lopsided. Has anyone had their doctor correct their incision? I would love it if he would just lop off a little of the extra skin, no lipo or tummy tuck so to speak just a little nip & tuck. Has anyone had their doctor do that?

It depends on the DR, some will some won't. If they won't they can co ordinate with a plastic surgeon. Of course the plastic surgeon's fees and expenses related to that part of surgery are considered cosmetic and aren't covered by insurance.

It wouldn't hurt to ask.

Hi, I just replied on another post. But my doc did a superb job of "repairing" my c-section scar (I had two c-sections). He tightened the excess skin up. I'm sending him a nice thank you note.

I asked my doctor if he would do a tummy tuck since I was going to be cut anyway. He said that he doesn't do that. I have heard of some doctors that will do a tummy tuck right after a C-section so why not with a hysterectomy.

My Dr trimmed off loose skin above my previous scar. It is nice to have those really wide stretch marks gone. I will say, this was not a tummy tuck at all and right now, I am not particularly happy with my incision because I have a ledge that hangs over. I'm trying to be optimistic and hope that some day it will go away or at least get smaller. - Good luck to you!
