Nausea from nerves?

I have my surgery in 12 days. I have been so nervous and anxious about it. I think I am making myself sick. For the past couple of days I am having a hard time staying asleep and I have been having on again off again nausea. Anyone else?

Hello! I didn't have any nausea but I did lose my appetite and from the time I found out I had cancer till now, I have lost weight. Lots of sleepless nites too. Many times I would wake and think about all the "What if's". I must say that once I got my surgery date locked in, I felt better and in more control. Hang in there and Good Luck!

Same here. Cannot sleep and wake up during the night for hours with the looming dread of the surgery and I am scared I will vomit when I get to the hospital. I get nervous just even driving over there for appointments. Will definitely be needing to take something for the nerves.
