Bloom Study

From what I've heard about the study, there are quite a few geographical sites involved. Give it a read and call them to find out more.

Tomorrow I go for my second visit. This one includes a full physical. I don't think I get the product until the next visit, which will be 4 weeks away.
ANyone else in the study? How far along are you?

Question - Bloom Study Anyone out there doing the Bloom Study?

Hi everyone,

I go back for my product in September. I would like to know if anyone has actually received their product yet and if they noticed any changes. Good or bad.
Sure hope I get the real thing!

Bloom to the rescue?

Hi, I am new here... please forgive any errors in posting.

I have been in the Bloom study for libigel by bio-sante pharmaceuticals for 4 weeks now. i am in california. the first 3 visits were to get alot of clinical information for baseline levels of hormones, lipids, etc. blood analysis and a mammogram and an eeg.

at my last visit (6 days ago) i received the trial drug, or maybe a placebo... to date, i have not noticed any differences.

the clinician said to give it 2 weeks to a month; although she did say that one of her participants called her on day 3 of the meds to say that she called her husband and told him to come home from work early!!!

i am still waiting and wondering. if you have started this trial, lets compare notes. i am interested in side effects that might clue us into whether we got the placebo or the real thing. there should be some way to tell?

I live in ND and of course, there are no clinical trials in my area. (figures ) But I hope to hear good news from some of you. There has to be hope for us out here. I for one, get tired of the comments from my husband that he is the most deprived man on this earth!!!!!!!

Bloom Study

Hi Rvan
Today is day 7 on my drug/placebo. I have not noticed a bit of difference in libido.
The only changes I have noticed are more hot flashes (more like warm flushes). I take a low dose patch and maybe that is the reason why.
I'm hoping I will notice a change in a week. If your clinician says it takes two weeks, then maybe there is hope for us!
They only gave my blood work back for the usual things like blood counts wbc and rbc. Nothing with the hormones. I guess they will not show us the hormone levels.
I think some clues we might have that we are on the real deal will be oilier skin perhaps. Or hair growth. Although from what I read, we are on a safe low dose, so we might not see any big changes in hair. I would think it takes a month or so to get the levels up.
Let me know if you have any luck!

ps: salon cuts, your husband is not the most deprived, because my husband seems to think he is!!

Bloom Study

Ladies, I think I'm feelin' it! The last 2 days I have actually thought about how nice it would be if................ (Can't say I've acted on it yet though) My DH askes every once in awahile, "so, hows the study goin" Boy he's a saint to have been so patient and understanding. But maybe not for long!

I actually have a few symptoms that I thought were related:

1. After applying the gel I would get a funny taste in my mouth.
2. A 'rush' feeling on and off throughout the day
3. Increased hot flashes and just overall too hot
4. Wierd, but: finally a sense of humor returning (haha)

It's been 15 days since my 1st application! yoo-hoo
Hoping you all get similar results

Bloom Study

Hi all,

I have been in the bloom study for the past 3 months. Unfortunately, I think I got the placebo, as I have seen no change whatsoever in my sexual desire. What a bummer! I was really hoping this would work. They issue you three bottles of gel that are good for 2 months each, so it won't be until next February that I get a new series of bottles. Maybe those won't be placebos.
