Pain with urination

Has anyone experienced having pain/pressure while urinating? I am 7 days post op and when I (pee) I feel some pain and pressure. I can pee for so long then I have to cut it off and then trickle some more because of the pain/pressure. Is there anyone out there with this problem?

Pain with urination

I had the burning and pain when I urinated and called the dr. The cathertor(?) often causes bladder infections. He gave me antibiotic and I felt better a few days later. I guess it's common.

alj, I had the same thing and when I mentioned it at my 2 week check up, the doctor explained that it was likely that because my bladder didn't have my uterus to lean up against, I was feeling the "squeezing"/pressure/etc. which is normally what you're bladder does. He also added that your bladder is healing too because it's been, what he likened to roadrash, a bit traumatized too. I can say that I am 6 weeks post op now and it's been at least 3 weeks since I felt that sensation. Hope this helps you.
