I have yo admit I'm fretting a bit! :O

I will be going in for a TVH-BSO on 6/22. I was pretty impressed with myself for not feeling nervous and apprehensive when it was first brought up at my recent pap smear appointment 3 wks ago. I'm not nearly as impressed with my nervous self now that its right around the corner! Haha
I have fibroid tumors, one is actually coming down out of the cervix. UGH! I think I was more horrified by that thought than the thought of the surgery itself. Anyway I am in abdominal and lower back pain all the time, worsening as the hours advance in the day. Sometimes, tho not often, the pain radiates down my legs. Im 53 and almost thru menopause, only hotflashes remain but less horrific than in early yrs of menopause. I am going to be relieved to have this all behind me but while its still front and center I have to admit I am fretting abit. NOT AS MUCH tho as I would have had I not found this site. Thank you for all the hepful tips, the guides, the sence of sisterhood and the humor!
