whats this??? not again!!

I'm beginning to wonder whether i'm supposed to have this surgery or not !

I have this huge, I mean HUGE boil on my butt !
It's so embarassing, I am afraid my DH will see it.

Its right on the side of the crack of my bottom ! now what do I do ladies?????.

I have surgery the 14th. I was supposed to have it the 3rd, but got sick with some cold and congestion virus....Now this awful looking huge multi colored boil .

Boils are infection right?

What do I do? Do I need antibiotics....must I go let the doctor lance it? look at it? Im so shy and modest, I just want to throw up.

Why now? Please, any advice for me?

HI and "ouch".........I suffer that way from time to time as well and with you going in for surgery, best to speak with your dr tomorrow and get on anti-biotics and would not hurt to use antibiotic cream around that area also...yep get anti-biotics, dr just put me on some for my "problem" TAH due on 30th Nov, best to get rid of all infections
....you have time to clear this up and wishing you good luck with your surgery, all will be fine OK?

Thank you Dusty....I'm calling the doctor tomorrow. And probably need to have this thing lanced. I just want to get well and have my surgery !!
