Are frequent painful loose bowel movements 4 weeks after hysterectomy common?

I am not on stool softeners or pain medicine. I am eating. I have frequency all morning long and then am good until the next morning. Just wondering if any others are experiencing the same thing.

My bowel movements have been regular and very loose since my surgery 4 weeks ago. From what my doctor said, it takes awhile for your body to get back to normal. So I am hoping she's right. I am actually glad they are loose since I am terrified to push, so it helps the process :-) Take care.
