Upcoming hysterectomy (LAVH) 5/4: Any one have an idea how long I should be in surgery

Supposed to be straight forward, they know exactly what is going on in there since I have had abdominal and a transvaginal ultrasound, and they did a hysterscope and D&C last month so there should be no surprises. Any one have an idea how long I should be in surgery. I will of course ask at my preop but I'm curious now lol

Re: LAVH Time

Times can still vary greatly even once they get in there. I was told 2-3 hours by my surgeon and the one assisting her, but then it ended up being around 4. If there are no surprises once in there you'll probably be done in 2.

My doctor reserved the OR for five hours and I was in for almost four of those. I had two fibroids and one was rather large and attached to my bladder. I went in at 7:30am and was wheeled into my room at 2:30pm that afternoon.
