3 wk postop, bleeding started back fairly heavy....what now?

I was 3 weeks post op yesterday and have had my share of little troubles (yeast infection 6 days out, uti and then another yeast infection!). About a week ago, I quit spotting and have enjoyed the freedom of being 'pad free' except for at night because of the yeast infection creams (yuck!). I have never really felt GOOD. I have had times of feeling much better except for being tired but I expected to be tired easily for a long time still. I have had such weird cramps off and on and started a fever last week. I didn't burn when I tinkled or go any more often than ever (and when I did/do go, there is a lot not just a little bit like with a uti). So Dr sent me back to hospital for bloodwork, urinalysis and a cat scan of my tummy. Came back as postive for uti so I started more antibiotics which caused the 2cnd yeast infection. I know that at this point, I may spot as the internal stitches are dissolving but this is way more than spotting. Bright, fresh but not flooding by any means. A small panty liner that I have been using for yeast infc meds is way to small but a regular sized pad is working fine. I have felt better today than I have so far but I am so very careful to not overdo it. My wonderful husband has been so good with me and I have been calling him my mother-hen since he won't even let me do light cooking once a day (he is a sweetie and a keeper!!). I have such great support from family and friends also so I haven't done anything to hurt myself. Any suggestions or advice or anything? I am not a worry-wart but these past few weeks have made me more aware of my body than I ever have been.

Hi cowwalker,
I'm so sorry to hear you're having another bladder infection and also the bleeding. How long has it lasted and is it less when you are off your feet? It's late, but if it seems heavy at all tonight I think you should call the dr on call and ask about it. If you are filling a pad in an hour that is way too much. If it takes all day to fill it,that isn't so bad. If it is still there in the morning I think you should call and let your dr know what is happening and see what he says.
I hope you will feel better soon. Let us know how you are doing.

's, Rita
