Calicifcation in Pelvic Area

I went to the doctor yesterday with pain in my lower left back going around my side. He ordered a x-ray and he called me with the results today. The x-ray shows calcification in my pelvis. He now wants a catscan done.

Has anyone had this since their surgery.

I'm very confused because I have been feeling great up until this happened.

Wow, that's interesting. I've had similar pain since surgery but not too bad and not constant (figured it from sitting too long in same position), though I've had that long ago and then it was a back strain, because there's a big nerve that runs from the spine around the hips to the front they told me. 2 1/2 months of physical therapy and a new ergonomic chair at work took care of it.

Can't imagine calcification, wonder calcification of what? I would be interested to hear more about it if you find out something.

I'm wondering if it will be from me taking extra calcuim because I didn't do HRT. I will be asking doctor that at my next appointment.
