Travel Post op Question

I live in boston, My dad lives in clearwater beach FL, him and his GF want to buy me a ticket to come stay with them during part of my recovery. I know the first two weeks is definately out for travelling but what week of recovery will I feel ok to travel ? Sitting at the airport and then on a plane for 3 hours doesn't sound very comfortable, plus I have read you can't go in the water for 6weeks...is this true? I live at the beach now and they also live right on the beach it is going to be pure tourture not being able to go in the ocean or pool the whole month of august! Also I am expecting to take the full 8 weeks... has any really needed 8 weeks to recover? I will be having all my work put onto a laptop and be able to send to a printer at the office...how much work do you think I really will feel like doing from home? Thanks for help answering! Hugs to all!
