Ladies
I havent been able to poop since I have come from the castle. Every now and then I sit and strain and I get a painful pebble!
I am in so much pain because u can tell that there is something still there and I cant get it out!! I have painful cramps because I am backed up I have changed my diet to soft foods including green veggies apple sauce grape and prune juices soup I have been drinking so much water that I can pee a river and I still cant poop the doc dont want me to do milk of magnesia or any kind of laxative stool softeners are not helping and the pain is just getting worse I called the doc and she says that she think that I will be going soon and she will see me tuesday and not to worry but this is uncomfortable and I even sneaked and used a enema and the only thing that came out was enema residue anybody had this problem please shead some light I NEED TO POOP!!!!

I am sorry. I know how that is. Really.
I did not poop until day 6 and I felt so uncomfortable.
I tried everything. Tons of veggies, fruits, stool softeners (since before the surgery). I even tried suppositories.
For me what helped is drinking a medium size glass of prune juice each night before bed. I'd usually be able to go mid morning the day after.
Someone said to warm the prune juice and it would work even better, and this is what I did.
It took about a month for my system to get totally back on track, to be able to go on my own like normal.
I hope you'll be doing better soon. I know it's no fun at all.

Stool softener before i go to sleep and all Bran and a coffee when i wake up, 45 mins later, gentle BM.

Ive done a vitamin c flush and that will shock my system into going
Since your constipated try finding vit c in powder form and take 1 tsp per hour until you get relief.
I also take benefiber orange drink mix (individual packets) daily just to keep the system going.

Two tablespoons of milk of magnesia at night did it for me finally. This is so so common but it's soso uncomfortable. Shirl

I went for a walk in walmart and after about 15 mins I was in the bathroom I think that I have hemorrhoids because when I pee and it runs back there it burns badly I am going to go to the doc on tuesday and see if they can do something for that
