Shopping at week 3

about a week post surgery I went out shopping for the first time with my father and my girls. Just to get out of the house. I am not used to being cooped up in the house for this long *laughs* So what I have been doing is walking the house and then once a week going with my husband out to the store just to get out and be around other people for a bit. I have been released to drive but with the weather I have not wanted to risk it. Glad to hear alot of you are doing so good with recovery. It gives me great hope for mine as well.

I did that beginning my second week - my husband would drive me to a neighborhood grocery store and we would walk the aisles. After a few days I was able to walk the entire store 2-3 times. Then when I could drive I started going to big box home improvement stores, etc. It was great for exercise and nice to get out of the house. We are having a very cold and snowy winter so walking outside is not an option.

I went to the store on day 3. I drove the little motor cart and df came with me, but I managed. Do what feels OK. Stop before it doesn't feel good.
