Symptoms Of Endrometrosis

Hi,
Unfortunately, the symptoms of endo could also be the symptoms of a host of other problems. Consitpation and diarrhea can also be symptoms of all kinds of gastro-intestinal problems. The only way to get a definitive diagnosis is to have the DR do a lap to take a look. I encourage you to see your DR and discuss this with him.

Symptoms Of Endrometrosis

Hi Traci,

I’m sorry you are having painful periods again. I had an ablation 7 mo. prior to my hyst. At the time of hyst it was discovered I had endo also. Here is a link with the Symptoms of Endo and with additional Endo Links from our resouce section as well. I had very painful BMs and diarrhea when menstruating, but not other times of the month.

After my ablation I had very little bleeding, but the cramps were horrific. I was told my problem was most likely caused by trapped bleeding behind the scarred off uterine lining. An ultrasound at that time showed multiple problems, so they scheduled the hyst not long after that.

I hope you find answers and relief soon. Mine just kept getting worse.

Let us know how you’re doing.
s & best wishes, Beth

Symptoms Of Endrometrosis

I have had endo since the age of 15...I am now 47. I have had many surgeries to remove it. The symptoms, at least for me, were extreme abdominal pain, terrible menstrual cramps, heavy periods, lower back pain that sometimes shoots down the leg, nauseau, vomiting, pain urinating, sometimes pain with intercourse or afterwards, constipation followed by diarrea and pain with both....the symptoms are aggrevated by eating acidic foods (orange juice, tomatoes, soft drinks, ect). When the pain increases over time, you find yourself unable to stand up straight. The only relief is with heating pads, hot tubs, and pain killers. I did not hurt every single day but maybe every other day. Also, the more I walk the more I hurt. Hope this helps.

Hello again Traci,

How did they remove the "pocket of blood" you mention? Was it like clotted menstrual blood you had removed, or did you have something drained???

Beth

Symptoms Of Endrometrosis

i went to the doctor in january with horrible cramps that would start in the front, radiate around and even down into my legs. this along with horrible clotting and gushing(sorry-gross),but when i told my doc these things he said it sounded like endo to him. i just had a lap and d&c done on march 7th that confirmed the endo and he also found ovarian cysts and adeno. not sure if the sysmtoms were more the endo. or the others, but i hope this helps.

Symptoms Of Endrometrosis

The pain is from the endo but the tremendous blood loss and clots is from the ademomyacis. I recently had a hysterectomy and it was confirmed that I had ademomyasis. Hope this helps. Chickypoo
