Passing clots

So this morning I woke up to passing not only a bloody discharge but there are clots. Some the size of a dime, and I've had one the size of a quarter.

Is this normal?

I would call the doc, just to be sure. I've not had anything like that at all.

I've been to my doctor and asked and he didn't answer, I called the on call nurse and asked her, but she was more concerned with my headache.

I happened to get a confirmation from a g/f of another g/f who had a hysterectomy and she said that she went through the same thing.

Its so frustrating to want to believe that all is ok but because we haven't gone through it before, we don't know.

I am at 16 days after da Vinci Total hsy. and passed large clots today and poured blood. It was bright red. I do have an appt. with Dr. today and hope to get answers. I will re post tonight. It is kind of scary. I also have a odd odor.

This sounds like what is described by others here of the stitches desolving accompanied by a strange odor.
