Post-op day 13

I had a LAVH on June 1st. I have good days and bad days...Lately, mentally, I am so bored, but my body is soooo tired! I do my walking around the house several times a day, shower. I have read two books, watched many movies and more t.v. than I wish to admit! But truely, my body is way more tired than what I expected. Patience, truely is a virture!
My husband and two teenage boys (13 and 15), have been so wonderful, I am grateful for them.
I am also grateful for this website - it helps not feeling alone through this new journey that we are all on!!!!

I know, shocking that I think I have watched every LMN movie/show there is!!! I have enjoyed watching some old shows I use to love..."Little House on the Prairie", where is "The Love Boat" reruns??!!!

Oh boy. I can't believe you have me googling "Love Boat reruns." Apparently, you can watch them on Fancast.com. And of course, you could always go out and buy the dvds if you experience a momentary lapse in reason.

I know...it was so frustrating early on! Hang in there!

Thank you so much for the encouragement. With society today, sometimes, I feel like a lazy butt for not acting like everything is o.k., and that I should be just fine and go out and about with a smile on my face!!

Yes, I watched both The Love Boat and Fantasy Island and I enjoyed them very much. I don't know if I would enjoy them as much now though. To give you an idea of my current taste in shows, I got totally hooked into watching marathons of Hell's Kitchen during my recovery. Kind of sad, don't you think? A very guilty pleasure indeed!
