Sharon, I am so sorry about your friend, Tuxedo. I know first hand just how much our furbabies mean to us.

I will continue to pray for your recovery.

My nerves are a jumbled up mess at the moment myself So, I know how you feel!

Dear Sharon,

You'll probably be home by the time you read this, but I just wanted to say how sorry I am that you had to go through all of this at the same time. I have 5 cats, 3 of whom are advanced in years, and the thought of losing any of them is almost too much to bear. I hope this site helps get you through the emotional ups and downs of recovery.

Best,

Leslie

I am sorry to hear about your cat. I know that they are your most supportive companions. They have an unspoken sense when we need them.

Maybe you could do something special when you recover. Enhance your recovery and sorrow by celebrating your cats companionship and your recovery in your own personal way at the same time.

Maybe when you feel up to it you could plant a special plant/tree in your yard.
You have to be recovered (and cleared by any and all doctors) in order to do that--so turn it into---

I have to get better to do this special celebration for this special companion.

(I have two older cats and know that in the near future I will be dealing with this-I also have 3 young children so I will have to deal with that as well)

I wish you a speedy recovery for your special celebration.

Dearest Sharon,
I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved kitty. I have lost a dear kitty and my two sweet and adorable German Shepherds......my babies!
I even cried my eyes out when we lost my son's pet rat, Rocky.
Yes, a rat makes a wonderful pet and is an especially gentle creature! Even I was surprised that Rocky brought such fun to our whole family!
Nothing can replace the dear companions we have lost. Perhaps in the future the time will come when you can adopt a new pet who will bring that special joy into your life again. There are so many animals in need of a good human!
Hugs to you, Sharon, and I hope you are feeling better soon.
