Fever same time every night

I had a LAVH on Jan 18th came home on the 20th. I had a lot of trouble the day of surgery lost a lot of blood and had trouble breathing after surgery. But every night since i have been home around 8pm I start running a fever. It's always right around 101.5 or a little lower. What could this be from. I can take my pain meds and it goes away. Not really sure if I should call my Dr or not. Has anyone else ran a fever after getting home from surgery?

Call your Dr. You could have an infection. Pain does not cause a fever. Also if your pain relievers have acetaminophen or ibuprophen in them they are a fever reducer.

Agreed. Please call your doc and be seen. A fever means infection, or you have caught a virus. Take good care!

Called Dr today and even though they say to call if your fever is 101.5 or over he just told me to watch it over night and to stay on top of my pain meds then call him in the morning to check in. Still have a fever tonight but I just took my meds so I am sure it will start to go down soon. Can't wait to start feeling better!
