Having second thoughts...

First I would like to say hello and thank-you to all of you ladies here at this wonderful site.

I was originally scheduled for a LAVH/BSO on June 3rd. My surgery was rescheduled due to no one to assist the DR. that day in surgery. I was so ready!! I have always had terrible cramping with my periods, found a pill that worked for a while. Then found out 5 years ago I have endo. So then it was depo. Which turned out to be a short lived source of relief. Then on to 6 mo. of Lupron. This did not stop my periods at all. If anything made them worse and also got all the wonderful side affects.

So now here I am at 9 weeks since my last Lupron. And nothing! No period to speak of! What is up with this? Does my body know that something is up or what? I had a very long talk with DR and DH and decided I was tired of this whole thing. Which made the decision for a hyster easy. So I thought! I have 3 children so I am done there. I guess I am just needing to vent this all out. Thank-you for listening.

Hi

It is ok to vent here, lots of people do!!!!!! You've had a lot of problems that are causing you discomfort and pain, but I wanted to say that you need to be well informed about having a hysterectomy. You know what you are feeling know, but you need to know as much information as possible before you decide. This is a good site for that information. You also should be questioning you doctor about what will happen prior to and afterwards.

Sending you a big

Patty
